My Volunteer Experience; Noble Gyimado writes

Helen Keller said, “I am only one, but still I am one; I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and just because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.” These words of Helen Keller motivated me after a Youth program organized by the District Youth Authority in the quest to eradicate Teenage pregnancy.

My goal was to enrich myself professionally and also commit myself to enable meaningful social change in and around the globe. The Shrewd Foundation gave me a platform to exhibit all of these.

Taking up leadership positions has allowed me to meet at least 500 children on the streets. My volunteer experience with The Shrewd Foundation gave me the platform to volunteer in other top Volunteering groups such as Recycle Up Ghana making sure the world is devoid of plastic waste, Youth Opportunities and Transformation in Africa- YOTA, YouLead Africa, Support for Community Mobilization Project Program to mention a few.

Despite meeting a lot of people to inspire and be inspired, my volunteer experience has given me the opportunity to become a great Advocate and a good negotiator in all aspects of life. Putting aside my academic qualifications, Volunteering has been one of the most wonderful things that have happened to me.
